EPW - Patek Philippe, Genève, mvt marked for retailer Spaulding & Co. of Chicago, IL, 44mm, platinum and iridium OF case with black enameling to bezel, bow and rear perimeter, refinished silvered dial with applied gold numerals in stylish Arabic design, SW-SS, lever escapement with counterpoise and capped escape wheel, 18J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#173617. Comes as pictured with a 14 inch platinum and black enameled chain having replacement 14K white gold swivels, and watch also comes as pictured with a Patek Philippe marked leather pouch. Gross weight of assembled watch 33.8 dwt (52.6 g). Gross weight of chain 7.7 dwt (11.9 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered micro-fine scratches; refinished dial with discolored spot at 6:30, some areas of perimeter scrape and discoloration under bezel; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, black enameling fully present; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal. Platinum and enamel chain with replacement 14K white gold swivels, terminal swivel does not spring closed and when opened must be pushed closed, excellent cosmetic condition showing little wear.
